It’s in My Nature
I am, by nature, a very caring person. I will put others before me because I know that I’ll be alright.
Because I am oh so caring, I love to demonstrate how much I care for people because saying it just isn’t enough.
Watch what they do, not what they say
For that very reason, when my old school was selling roses, I just had to get one for someone. Instead of buying just one for a crush or a friend like everyone else, I bought one for my teachers. Not just a few of my teachers, but every teacher that I had had since seventh grade. I was a sophomore at the time and I went to that school from seventh grade to the end of my sophomore year (because it was k-12).
Can you imagine how many roses I bought? I even bought some for a few teachers that I never had just because they were people that I looked up to. They all told me that I was the only person that bought them flowers. I even wrote notes for each of them to better demonstrate my appreciation.
I am very big on showing people that you care and every little thing counts. After all, the little things make up the big things. Each of them had given me so much over the years and I wanted to show them that it hadn’t gone forgotten.
I’m a very caring person. I can’t help it, it’s in my nature. Don’t be so full of hate that you forget how to love. The more time you spend hating someone, the less time you spend loving the people that actually love you.
