College Search Made Simple
If you’ve already began your college search, then you know how hard and stressful it can be. If you haven’t already, then you’re in luck because in this article, I will be introducing how to facilitate your college search. You will find your dream school in no time.
Cappex.com is a life saver for many students. It not only puts colleges in contact with you, but it provides many opportunities for scholarships, it features a college visit planner, it lets you know your chances of getting in, and it gives you all of the information that you would need to know about the school in question.
I stand behind Cappex 100% as it has greatly helped me with my college search. It only shares your information with colleges that you approve of and new colleges contact you everyday.
How it works:
Although it’s not necessary to research colleges, if you want the full experience and every benefit that this site has to offer, you should begin by making an account. The best thing about it is that it is 100% free! After creating an account, schools immediately start to contact you.
Attached to the message, is the college’s fit for you based on the preferences you selected while creating your free profile. Factors such as the school type (4 year, 2 year, vocational), the environment, and the majors offered affect this percentage. If you choose to share your information with the school, it will be added to your college list, which can be as long as you want it.
If you go to the university’s profile, you can read student reviews to get a real feel for the university in question. It also gives you quick facts such as the type of setting and university, as well as the mission statement. Also stated on the profile are the admissions information, the cost, and all degrees and programs offered by the school.
As you continue to explore the profile, it tells you your chances of getting into the school based on your profile and the school’s preferences. You must, however, keep in mind that it is an estimation and there are many more factors to getting accepted. If you want a better calculation, the best thing to do is call the school’s admissions office.
Cappex also tells you who else is getting in.
Cappex also features an admissions ‘coach‘, which tells you how you can become a better candidate in the admissions process, and tips for getting into your school of choice. You can also apply to colleges on Cappex, however, if you choose to apply online you should always alert your school counselor beforehand.
If you are torn between two or more schools, Cappex also offers a feature that compares colleges. You never have to be stuck or confused again!
With all of these great perks, you can see why I choose to use Cappex. It’s a great tool for any student that plans on continuing their education. Happy searching!
